Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3, 2010
Ravenswood ArtWalk is a self guided tour of open studios, businesses, galleries and spaces along the Ravenswood Corridor. It is the kick off event for Chicago Artists Month and showcases works from nationally known artists and emerging artists in the Ravenswood Corridor. Over 2,000 guests attended the 2009 event featuring over 178 artists in nearly 50 venues. Registration will open May 1 and end on July 1, 2010.

As part of our ongoing outreach to the arts and industry along the Ravenswood Corridor, Ravenswood ArtWalk (RAW) will be hosting monthly networking events for artists and businesses. These events will vary in topic and take place on the second Wednesday each month at different venues along the Ravenswood Corridor.
Our goal is to bring people together to create dialogs, exchange information, and to create a greater sense of community. Most importantly, the goal is to inform the general public of the unique diversity of the arts and industry that exists in Ravenswood.
The first RAW Wednesday event will be an Artist Salon and Critique. It will take place on Wednesday Jan. 13, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at the RAW offices located at 4147 North Ravenswood Avenue. Artists are encouraged to bring five sample jpeg images of their work on CD or Flash drive, or email them to laura60613@yahoo.com before 5:00 PM on the day of the event. We will have an informal group critique of the images as time permits. Refreshments will be served.
If your business or studio would like to sponsor an upcoming RAW Wednesday event, please contact Bill Moran at moranstudios@hotmail.com.
